anyone got strategies for the all the other maps except shack even in casual mode? this game is notoriously very difficult and I don't intend to get into the discord to make it easier as the difficulty, for me, is engaging.
Highly recommend using the SEL Defender (or is it S&L? the font is weird) in every level and getting the recoil reduction perk first as that makes the basic pistol viable a while longer with consistent headshots.
On the cave level after I turn on the power I go to the right and stand just inside the lower tunnel that leads to the medical vending machine, no enemies spawn at the medical vending machine so this gives room to fall back but if you go to far the flying bugs will go through the top tunnel and pin you.
On the jungle level I stay near the left side of the map right by the gate to the village you'll need to run back and fourth a lot to make sure you don't get pined between groups of enemies. but if you do get over run climb up the tree and try to keep a good distance from the enemies but don't give up ground to fast and if you have to, jump off to the right but be careful of any beartraps. It will be a little rough early on but once you are better equipped you won't need to climb the tree again till much higher waves.
On the Space station level get to the right side of the level as fast as possible (with a good amount of money) to get access to the weapon vending machine and if you're just trying to get as far as possible don't open the last door on the right you won't be able to use the flame thrower but its not that great anyway.
On the Furry Robot level open both of the doors just right of starting room, enemies shouldn't spawn in this room as long as you don't go to far to the left side and they don't spawn down the hole so start every wave at the top and just fall back as needed. Early on you might want to get the "Usi" before committing to that room and if you are just trying to get to the highest wave don't open the door on the far right side of the level because that will start spawning an enemy behind you and ruin a good run.
they have mods in their discord you can install that can give you cheats. The best one is in their game-mods channel, and it's called Captivity Multi-Tool (CMT). They also have a bunch of other stuff that are fun to play with!
can anyone tell me how they got the face assault experiment in this game ? does the fly have to just latch on to you or do you have to finish the whole animation ?
I'd reccomend joining the discord linked by the developer in a forum here purely because there is a pretty decent mod that is easy to implement. Makes a lot of parts less punishing while giving a lot more reasons for that implementation like more cost from getting hit and grabbed (decreased strength) Better clothes break, etc. Should be like CCCC4C

You should take into account that playing it with a single hand makes it really hard!! [makes us hard too lol]
There's a mod on the discord server that makes it easier if you're still having trouble.
My dumbass trying to figure out the code to the door at the beginning for the first 5 minutes
And trying to not get mindbroken before wave 10 (most I got is wave 5-7 for each one)

Why is the code for the keypad you get after completing everything a 3 digit number when the door needs 4 digits? Am I missing something?

Yeah the dev has left the game. But there is a Discord server and it has a few mods.
