I see alot of suggestions, ideas and potential fixes for problems in the comments. I've read them all, but I don't have the time or sanity to really sit down and go through every point using my full intelligence and attention. I'm taking it slow right now, and go step by step. Feel free to keep giving feedback and support, but please don't feel offended or ignored in case I don't respond.
If I were to count all the good ideas and changes everyone has suggested here, it's probably going to turn into a list of a 100 things to do. And that in only about 2.5 days. Phew.

Take your time, don't worry. yes game balance should be the first thing to add, but this is still a complete game for only 3 bucks vs a ton of unfinished games which milk people for years. That's also why many people liked it
If I may chip in not a game, but a management suggestion: You should write up a roadmap. No dates, no release shedule, just a list of things you are working on or planning to do, roughly ordered by how important or sure to be added they are.
In my experience, that's one of the most simple to add things there is, to reduce the influx of dupplicate ideas, and to asure people that there is more worthwhile stuff to come.
Some commendably quick balancing there, had trouble getting to wave 10 on Shack previously, but Casual, I quit after... 21? Yeah, 21, so that's good.
Haven't tried caves yet though, that's the real test, and I see you've got a fair amount of critique there already, as well as a fair amount of suggestions overall.
So this is just a note to say you've had a commendable early start on this, and I look forward to seeing what else you do with it.
Most people like FER stage the most. It's the most recent stage I've made as well, so things I had learned through the progress of developing this game is applied to that stage. Maybe thats why its the best, such as proper AI.
I had a good bit of difficulty with AI and pathfinding. Right around when starting on the FER stage I really solved some issues and started to create good pathfinding. That is why FER has the most complex paths and platforms out of all the stages, which in turn makes it an interesting stage to play.
I really gotta say this game is quickly becoming one of my favorites, great job on this my dude.
Your work really reminds me of old flash games like The Last Stand zombie shooter, which I think is really great. I think it really fills a niche in the NSFW game community that was just waiting to be filled, and I really hope your work inspires others to do the same.
Are you considering branching out to other platforms to advertise/create a presence? In my view it would be nothing but beneficial to have a Patreon, it would give you a good bit exposure than being on itch.io, and let people pitch in more consistently.
I think most of the suggestions and criticisms have already been said to death, maggots are unreasonably small & difficult to see, the cave in general is in need of balance, the jungle map is a bit big, etc etc. Any criticisms imo are heavily outweighed by how well done everything else is.
I'm not sure if you're aware, but a lot of discussion about this game has been going on in the F95zone forums, just in case you didn't know or something

Wow, that forum got filled pretty quickly. The game is 2.5 days old and people are already so excited. I hope they realise I'm broke and are able to buy the game on here.
I'm gonna be honest: I'm quite overwhelmed. Reading all the comments makes me a little dizzy, simply by the sheer number of cool ideas and kind words.
I'm currently a student following a pretty difficult computer scientist course, so I can't spend all of my time on Captivity. I slept 4 hours today and woke up to immediately start attending class (which I'm attending right now).
That's why Patreon is a bad idea I think. I can't consistently work on Captivity, and that's why I don't expect consistent money from generous people.

dude just, wow. Give yourself a break. You obviously have a ton of talent but burnout is real. I understand not having money, hopefully this game keeps gaining traction. I found out about this on f95, played the version they had then realized there were updates. I def bought this and have been seeing large improvements and am eagerly waiting for more.
I just bought the game and already put an unhealthy amount of time and focus into it. I read through some of the earlier comments and I can't believe this is your first game! Amazing work!
There have been a lot of good recommendations and compliments in the comments so far so I don't have a ton to add, but I don't think anyone mentioned the idea of bosses. With a wave-based game like this it's perfectly fine without bosses, but it can add a sense of buildup and progression, as well as a fifth enemy for stages. It could be neat if they would be manually triggered by the player either by a large cash sacrifice or by doing certain things like the statue in the jungle stage or like how Jackies appear when you open the backroom of the F.E.R., or just spawn every certain number of waves. I would say that killing a boss gives an alternative way for players to end a level, and beating a boss would give the option to exit or continue and it can track how early the player beat the boss or how many times they beat the boss in a single run, stuff like that.
To be frank though, the current variety is already great. The F.E.R. stage really blows it out of the water with what the enemies do. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Are there any plans to add multiple playable characters or body types like a THICC body option or Futa/Ts, also curious if high heels are a possible addition?
High heels are a bit difficult to implement, considering they player skeleton needs to change in height, maybe in the future. Adding multiple body types is possible, I will look into that one day. I think I will add the futa option as a wardrobe item you van put on.
Great game, payed a little extra after messing around with it.
As most people said, game is hard as balls, except the Shack, I was able to get all of the experiments there in 1.0.0 before trying another level and getting frustrated.
grapple mechanics are a little unforgiving even on the new casual difficulty. I still have to use a macro to get out of grapple for some enemies.
I do think this would benefit from some sort of persistent upgrade mechanic. A little extra libido here, A little extra strength there would be great. It could be based on residual money from each match, or each match could track an overall score, which could carry over into points.
This would allow for increasingly more difficult levels or more difficult experiments, but ya gotta balance the grind also.
My favorite level by far ( in terms of level design ) is FER I would love to see more levels like that... I really like how it is more exploratory, and has multiple paths you can take. Unlocking more monsters the further from spawn you go.
Also, what do you think about opening up for players to add their own levels? I personally have 3 or 4 level Ideas that I would like to make.
Now for bug/issue report time:
When escaping from/finishing a rape, if you hold down a directional button BEFORE you escape, the player character stays still, I have many times gotten in a "stun-lock" because I was holding a direction and I couldn't escape.
controls feel a bit stiff. It is Leaps better than most H-platformers, but there is still something off.
Transitioning from mouse on the side that is the direction the character is moving to behind the character needs a bit slower of a deceleration. ( one of the stiffness issues )

Hmm... you're probably the 4th person to suggest some form of upgrading. I'm gonna think about it. I'm thinking about being able to spend skill-points to upgrade your character stats. But this is a pretty big change, so don't wait for it right now. Other stuff like new stages and Gallery mode is way more important at the moment.
Also, it's pretty hard to balance the sex escape mini-game. I'm 100% sure that some people find escaping very very easy while others find it near impossible. A solution would be to use a different type of mini-game that doesn't require finger dexterity. But what? But it's kinda too late for that now.
Oh, my bad. Then it's either a typo or bugged.. which is strange cause some people already beat the entire game. Will check up on it soon, right now I'm going to bed. Thanks for reporting the bug!
Your game is amazing, I haven't seen so much quality content anywhere in a long time at the initial stage.
However, there is a lack of gallery or sandbox mode/map (e.g. where the player can choose mobs and their number for each wave, different free guns, infinite parameters (heart, pleasure еtc)).
I hope there will be more content with hypnosis or mind control staff in the game (hypno-traps, bots with flashing hypno-eyes, brain parasites, microchip implant etc.). And not enough lesbians. Cunnilingus to the spider Queen, of course, is available, but this is a bit not what I want.
And I still don't understand what can an Android in the location of F.E.R. Just an ordinary mob?
And there is an extreme lack of "emergency" end button of the level when already know that you lost. Some animations are too long (like Goblin Minor animation).
The orange android with no legs is just there for fun, she doesn't do anything. The white android up top that comes alive after turning the switch on is also just for fun, no gameplay elements are involved.
I 'm not sure what you mean with emergency end button. You mean being able to just give up midway through the game cause you think you've lost? If so: you can just exit to main menu and click play game again. All progression and stuff that gets saved to your save file like highscores and experiment completions happen mid-gameplay, so you don't have to wait around to get mind broken first.
Goblin minor animation is way too long I know. But I've spent a good bit of time on that animation and it hurts to just cut a big portion out lol.
Personally I liked the goblin minor animation, smaller enemy sizeplay with the player character is good, and I think you can do more with them than just larger enemies could
I'm sure you are well passed the point of taking suggestions for you're two upcoming levels but I also would be down for hypno stuff. A mind flayer would be just perfect.
I love where this is going, still needs some balancing here and there but overall this initial release offers more content than many other games that have been around for way longer without smelling greed too much. Maybe add built-in cheats and a gallery ? Extra points for not having a patreon ♥
I'm just tired of games not going past alpha stages before being abandoned without a word or where the monthly (if not longer) updates add pretty much nothing else than cosmetics and bug fixes, and such games sadly are all over the place on patreon, patron itself isn't that bad, I've just lost faith in adult games available there, too many devs focusing on milking players of their money more than working on the game.
Just make sure to not give me too much money so that I don't turn lazy and greedy.
Just kidding. I need money I'm broke lol. That's about 33% the reason why I released the game. But don't be too afraid, I care about the quality of my projects. The remaining 66% of my motivation is to develop a good, fun game.
But I see what you mean. I've noticed some pretty good H-games stuck in development for like 2 years, with Patreon pages still being up. And honestly they are not that super amazing or revolutionary or anything.
Want to know a fun fact? I started this project out as a linear adventure platformer, but shifted towards what the game is now. The reason for that is that making an adventure game with a chronological storyline and level progression towards sensical goals is quite hard. I'm just a programmer. It's by chance that I've also spent a good amount of time drawing and animating when I was younger, so I can atleast create interesting looking characters (I hope). But building entire levels that look good and make sense is beyond me. Also, such projects take way more time than a wave shooter, trust me. I would never be able to release it if I hadn't transformed the game into a wave shooter.
The GUI of the note and keypad in the captivity room, and the keypad and key to unlock the Wunderwaffe in F.E.R are a result from the previous iteration of the game. A bunch of graphics in Space Station are also recycled.
Maybe I will post a unfinished build of what the game used to be. Could be fun.

First of all your game is absolutely amazing that's why I want it to be even better.
- I have a few ideas, most importantly I hope you know that you are not allowed to NOT add a Gallery, This game is to good not to have one, And or an Arena where you have no lives only Pleasure and Libido and you can spawn enemies yourself or with a wave system too but you can decide which enemies can spawn.
- I think something like a content menu where you can toggle things like pregnancy or Futabots don't have a metal sound or dropping your weapon on some attacks would be nice so that every Player can decide how they want to play the game.
- Gangbang is something I personally would definitely want, It fells just wrong when they are 20 Zombie or Flies(hope that's the English name) around you and only one is using you, but I saw that some else also recommend it and you said that it would be difficult to implement I can just cross my fingers and hope.
- You already change the difficulty a bit which was definitely needed, will properly need further testing until it's good enough and while saying that difficulty settings for people how aren't so good at such game but still want to enjoy it wouldn't hurt.(or harder for masochist ( ͡°͜ʖ͡°))

I noticed that no enemies are normal Humans closest would be Zombies or maybe the Futabots. I don't know if that's on purpose or a coincidence. In any case I will propose Human enemies.
1. A brothel mostly female enemy for some lesbian time. I thought that they have H-attacks like fingering, strap-on, Cunnilingus and some tools like a wooden horse or a sex machine. The Specialty could be that they can tie you up with ropes like arms you can't use items/weapons or legs you can't move and you need to go through a mini-game(like escaping an H-attack) to get rid of them but you can get attack while doing so would decrease the amount of enemies a bit for that reason.(generally would like some Bondage in the game)
2. A really thick Jungle with Tentacle plants what they would to is obviously. The Specialty on that level would be that some enemies spray pollen witch when they hit you, make you extra horny witch means maximum libido is increased and libido increases slowly over time to get rid of it you could add an item or it has a timer.(ability on the left like mind control has a bar like health which when full increases the abilitys level which increases the effect)

The content menu idea is very interesting. But I wonder whether most people are interested in completely customizing their player experience or not. I think most people just want to play a fun game and play with their private parts enjoy the graphics and animations.
You don't like the thrusting sounds of the futa bots? You're the second person to comment that. Would you rather have the metal sounds lowered quite a bit or just be replaced with normal thrusting and skin hitting sounds?
Gangbanging is probably never going to happen for this game, so don't get your hopes up. It would involve too much programming work and animation changes. Although I do agree it would fit nicely with this game.
I already added a difficulty option in v1.0.4. I'm way ahead of ya :).
As for your creative ideas, they are pretty good but too vague. I think I like the brothel the most. This game needs some lesbian love (even though futa's are sort of women too. Even though they are bots. With dicks... nevermind)

I still have some things to say I just didn't want to put every thing into one comment, but before I will clarify some things from the old comment
With a content menu I mean not customizing the hole game just things some People like and others not, like pregnancy you could limit by how many things you can have inside you, and if the player doesn't like it at all he can set it to 0(setting it to low should then disable the ability to earn achievements because it changes the gameplay to much)
And with the metal sounds I have not that much against it, I just saw like you said that someone else didn't like it. although would need to hear it with normal sounds before I make a final decision. Here you could add a toggle like you did with the muzzle flash in 1.0.4
And with my ideas being too vague... I mean that's what they are supposed to be, I am not going to think a Complete stage when you can then you just say nahhh don't like it.(no offense)
And for the Gangbang I am not giving up that easily. I of course don't know how you made every thing but, Currently enemies have only one h-animation if it would be easy to add more than one you could see a Gangbang animation just as another animation where you check if gangbang compatible enemy is nearby and then chose this animation instant of the normal one.(if that's not possible that I hope that at least some enemies will have more than one animation available, but if the gangbang thing doesn't work I think that's also not happening)
Now to some new points.
I think I have found a bug the big bug (pun intended) in the cave does stuck on an H-animatzion some times, at the end when it should move to the nest but it does nothing.
And I think the amount of traps on the jungle should be limited maybe depending on the difficulty ?
And definitely be able to change the order of your guns.
I have a sound idea don't know how it would sound but you could add a pussy sound while being fucked to the slap sound which sounds wetter the higher you libido gets.(Similar to the fingering sound)
I think the first half of the Zombie grabber animation a bit to long it would be nice if he would bite you only half as soften but does twice the damage not to hard just a bit to long

there is a bug with the fly sound effect on cave, no matter which slider you turn to 0, so long as the master volume is above 0, the sound can be heard.
Personal gripe that I physically can't stand the sound of fly's. I am not lying that I would pay for a button or slider just for that singular sfx
*Edit* Scratch that, the Master volume can be off and it still plays the fly sfx ahahaha.
I hope this dosnt come off as rude but I think it would make more sense if the futa robots didnt make a metal sound when they rape you, makes it seem like its metal on metal, also will there more futa content in the future? Love the game btw :)

Few things to consider maybe adding, a better more expensive version of buffout.
A "Enemies left" counter per wave
Kill x of y could also reward small perma upgrades like +10% damage vs them
Kill x with z weapon, similar, + % damage, or recoil reduction or discount at the vendor
A small one but not sure how difficult it would be to implement, a in-round pause with access to the options, audio, controls ect, I'm always forgetting a button
Gallery mode? I'm not sure its implemented and I'm missing it, as the data counts are awesome, playing the animations would be cool too after unlocking them.
At the moment the cash value is "vulnerable" to cheat engine, something to note if something like that bothers you - tested to try out some of the more expensive vendor items
Buffout is already quite good in my opinion. If you have 0 Strength and consume 2 Buffout, you're already back in the game. Adding a stronger version will probably be overpowered and makes the game go on for way too long.

Building an in-game options menu is pretty hard right now, because I've programmed the GUI of the game pretty badly. Maybe in the future.
Gallery mode is not present. It's definitely in my todo-list right now, so stay tuned.
I don't care too much about the cheat engine stuff. If people want to cheat, that's their decision. This is not a multiplayer game so it's fine.
I've published 1 app ever for an Apple device, and I remember it being quite a hassle. I'm not sure when I will make a MacOS build. Linux is higher on the priority list too.
Tons of respect for you response time on the feedback. I would have just suggested a difficulty option cause my game doesn't save for some reason and it makes me restart but another way could be adding permanent buffs for completing experiments such as zombie II hunter makes you do more damage to them, dog toy makes them deal less lust damage or snack make you take less damage from bites
This game is honestly lots of fun, and each patch has consistently improved the overall gameplay and experience by adjusting what needed to be fixed quickly and correctly. The enemies have great variation, and each has animations that fit their overall theme just right, which makes for fighiting through the enemies to find new ones a really enjoyable experience. I personally enjoy the cave and space station enemies the most because I'm honestly into it, but I feel there should be a warning for bloody effects in the animations which weren't given when I first started to play this. Maybe there's been a patch since I've posted this that fixed the issue I find with it.
I believe the dev has said that there'll be more levels and roughly 4-ish enemies per level to fight and see what they do, and I look forward to it. I wish there was more mind-control and hypnosis themed stuff in the game, but I hope there'll be more of it avaliable in the future
-enemy threesomes/gangbang scenes -enemy animation/scene gallery -upgrades -meeting with other captives -a different ending -shemale/futanari customization for player character
I like hyonosis stuff too. I'm thinking of new ways to explore this. Something like the player being hypnotised from a distance, and her being forcefully made to walk towards the enemy with her arms extended like a zombie.
Gangbang scenes will be quite difficult to implement with the way I've programmed and designed this game. I'm not sure that will be ever a thing for Captivity, but who knows, maybe one day.
A gallery option is needed I think. I just have to figure out how to do it properly.
What do you mean with upgrades?
Meeting with other captives would be really cool, and I thought about this idea quite a bit in the past. But again, with the way I've built AI and stuff, it will be quite difficult to implement this.

Im planning to add the futanari thing as a Wardrobe item reward in a future stage release.
It takes a good bit of time to design, draw, animate, program and build an entire stage with it's enemies. Right now I'm following a course to become a bachelor computer scientist, so my time is slightly limited. But I love this game, and judging by the comments others like it too. I will do my best to create new content, and probably create more than 2 stages.
I'm happy to hear you like the enemies. I'm a programmer, not an artist. So it makes me abit less nervous to hear good feedback on the drawing and character design.
I was thinking in a similar direction. I want to create some sort of area/room alongside the captivity room where you can play around with npc's. I was thinking to make it so completing the Hunter challenges (Zombie I Hunter, Death Hound Hunter etc.) unlocks the npc's so you can play animations and stuff. Interesting idea with the hatch thing, it could work.
For upgrades, I was thinking maybe a special damage increase similar to the drug that maybe drops every 5-10 rounds just to help people last a little longer in the locations. I'm glad to hear you have an interest in more hypnosis content for your game, and the option for futanari as a wardrobe option is a good idea.

Are you playing the most recent version? There was a nasty bug that caused loading issues, which was fixed in v1.0.3. Please try the most recent version of the game. Let me know if the game still doesn't work!
It will take a good bit of time to animate an interaction just for one specific and single enemy. Also, it's kinda hard to come up with something she can do.
Maybe fingering the player from down below or something. Maybe in a future update I will.
I highly agree with you. I tried to implement this but it's more difficult than it may seem. Especially with all the different types of clothes that are around. Maybe in a future update.
I like this game, and the update made it better. my only issue are the muzzle flash of the guns which screws my eyes a little and after some time i have to pause the game. being able to toggle it off would be neat

I noticed that the game often bugs out and the IA simply no longer attacks you. mostly on the pace station level i think. in the cave level it could happen that if a musca grabs you to the nest, then drops you then grabs you immediately after, it bugs itself and no longer does anything after the animation
Hmm that doesn't sound too good. When the AI bugged out at the Space Station, did this occur right after being fucked by one of the enemies? And were you perhaps able to solve it by dashing? I encountered something like that in the past too but I thought I fixed it.
As for the Musca thing, that's new to me. I'm gonna look into that as well. Thanks for reporting these bugs!
dude your game is great but it will be good if you add a cheats option after completting the game and also new weapons because the mg42 is too OP but also i was missing a oly fetish in the jungle map how i get the last one?
Do you know what can cause audio issues? I have no game audio and nothing is muted. Are there any audio drivers that you know will not play your game's audio? If so, could you list them, and any other potential fixes?
When you buy a game on itch you get a link through which you can download new files for free for this product. You got that link right after purchasing, and also to your e-mail account (maybe somewhere on itch.io too). Did you get the e-mails?
I've been stuck loading for about 15 minutes now, I have no idea why. Game starts fine, I can choose between the 3 options and quit, but options is just blank when I select it and when I start the main game, it just loads with the moving background
Hmm that's weird. Others can play just fine. Are you sure you didn't move files around in the game folder? Also, try running the game in administrator mode, maybe that will work. You say you can't see the options menu? Thats very weird. I will look into this issue as soon as I can.
Can you try to place the game folder in a different location? Try your desktop.
The problem is that for some reason the game can't connect to your save file (Captivity_Data\StreamingAssets\xGameDB.db). That's also the reason why the options menu doesn't load properly.
not gonna lie bruv, this is fucking amazing, its everything i want in a porn game. but on the other hand, its hard as fuck, my opinion as an avid wanker would be to add like an easier difficulty or a cheat mode
First i like to say that i really like your game and i'm just give my two sense in what i would like to see changed to help your game. You do not have to listen to anything that i'm about to write as it is your game and don't owe us anything at all.
Now I tried 4 stages so far and stage 1 was fine but after that it was really hard to do anything after like round 5 either due to the orcs blow darts/traps, the really small maggots/fly bullshit or the metroids like/ fast as fuck dudes that can down you in 4 hits plus the face hugger that i tried to find a way to get off me for like 10 mins before just being over run by everything else. Also when you mind broke and restart in the bunker let us get out of bed quicker as having to wait about 15 seconds every restart is a bit annoying.
I think that having some armor/ more HP/ being able to get enemies off you quicker/ maybe take away STR all together, should be the first things to fix because i don't know about you but most people just can't spam the buttons that quickly without like 30% of your STR. gone after 1 guy and after the first 30% is gone it like 40% the next time which you fuck after that no matter what.
The perks were fine with like maybe a 33% quicker reload perk/ maybe a perk that makes getting out of grabs faster/ a perk that doubles your dodging stamina. Also maybe a place-able turret or something that you have to buy ammo for then run to it to reload it that takes a few seconds. Maybe change the 15 second invincible drug to not stun you as well. As well as a item that restores you STR. and maybe have all items be in the store instead of random each round because RNG can fuck you sometimes. Maybe a item that restores 1 heart that cost a lot so it can't be spam bought. Also maybe being able to upgrade a weapon's power for like double what it cost or something. Also have the shops be a bit closer as it can be hard to get to both on the larger maps in 30 seconds or change the 30 seconds to like 60 seconds instead since we can skip to the next round.
Most of the weapons felt a bit weak after like round 10 unless you had the 50% damage perk with shotguns really fucking you due some being really slow to reload plus the enemies just being all over the place. The 250 round LMG was the best gun for everything which is fine since it cost $3000 but the 50 round LMG should be a bit more powerful if it going to be the same price. The starter pistol is fine for the first stage but really didn't do much in any other stage due to the enemies being able to quickly spam attack you from all angles so maybe make the enemies a little easier to kill for the first 3 rounds/ slightly buff the starter pistol. The flamethrower on stage 4 is nice but the range is a bit short for it to help with the stun attack from the metroids like enemy that can shoot from far away.
Now most of the enemies are fine but maybe make it so that the harder enemies don't spawn in till some rounds have pass or have a enemy introduced every few rounds to give the player some time to get cash and buy some equipment. Now i don't like how the later enemies can just make you drop your equipment in some of their grabs instead just let the player keep it as the active item at the time because it's annoying to have to pick it up in the middle of a fight then quickly switch back to it while dodging everything else only to get grab again and lose it once more. Also have a button to skip the much longer sex scenes if you can't escape at the cost of 1 heart or something as some people will want to get back to the fight then have to wait every time. Also make the invincible frames after the sex a little longer so you can get up better.
In conclusion I want to thank you for all the hard work that you put in this game and hope that you continue to do well in anything you do in the future. Have a good day. :)

You make pretty good points and have interesting ideas. You're the second person who commented that the game is basically a bit too hard. Maybe you guys are right. I have playtested this game all by myself cause I am not a studio, just a one man developer. To me the game is too easy: but that's most likely due to me playing the game for over 150 hours due to playtesting.
I think you're right about the difficulty of the game. I can see how the game is overwhelming when being attacked by all the different types of enemies on each stage (Jungle stage and Cave stage are by far the most difficult ones, I lose quite often on those stages as well).
Here's my ideas to make the game a bit more easy and less frustrating (based on your ideas as well as my own):
- Strength is getting buffed: This means you can more easily escape sex with the amount of Strength you have. I think the cap at which escaping should start to get really difficult is around 33% Strength, instead of the way it is right now which is around 50%. Removing this element makes the game pretty boring in my opinion so I'm not planning to remove it.
- Some way to restore Strength: I like the idea of Strength being depleted permanently. If this is not the case, the game will go on pretty much forever. However, losing all your Strength pretty much means you're fucked (ha). So I'm gonna think about some way to balance this, maybe a new drug with proper pricing or something.
- A drug that makes escaping sex easier
- No more weapon loss: You can lose your gun when getting fucked by certain enemies, like Flies and Abbys, but also by special attacks, like energy blasts from Sqoids. I see that it can be annoying and frustrating to deal with this. I think I'm gonna remove this mechanic entirely. I mostly added this because I thought it was a cool visual thing: which it is (I think). But gameplay is more important.
- Drug vendor consistency: Drugs are randomly inserted into Drug Vendors each end of the wave. Maybe this is a bit annoying, cause drugs tend to get expensive the more powerful they are. Adding a random element to it may be a bit too much. I think I will remove this random element and just present all the drugs every time you enter the Drug Vendor, but limiting it so that you can only buy 1 of each drug every wave. The Weapons Vendor will remain the same, cause some guns are clearly better than others and I don't like the idea of just buying the same best guns every time you play.
- General buff to all guns: I'm gonna make most guns a bit stronger in damage, including the starter pistol. I think this will make using them more satisfying.
- Pump action reload speed increase: The reload speed of pump action shotguns are slow, yes. I'm just gonna make it quicker.
I'm thinking of nerfing a bunch of enemies, mainly:
- Flies: I think I'm gonna reduce Strength drain and Libido increase on sex. I like the idea of Flies being annoyingly fast and quick to 'hump' the player. That's why I don't want to reduce the rate at which the player gets fucked by Flies. However, the Strength drain and Libido increase could be lowered quite a bit. Also, just in case you don't know already: Flies cannot face fuck you if you are not facing them while they are charging you. Check the Data tab to see each enemy and their special attacks.
- Maggots: same story as Flies. They should be able to quickly fuck the player, because they are small and slimy. I'm gonna reduce it's fuck strength a good bit though, so you can escape them more easily even you are a bit low on Strength.
- Sqoids (metroids): They are too high in numbers I think. I can also reduce the rate of their energy blasts and maybe add like a 50% chance to not fire, so that they don't bombard you with energy blasts all at once.
- Litigants (fast as fuck dudes): I like the idea that they are fast as fuck. Also, Space Station stage is quite linear with no vertical platforming. This could make the stage quite boring if all enemies are slow and tanky-like. I can definitely see them being a bit too strong, however. I think I will keep them as they are, but reduce the damage they do on attacks quite a bit. Maybe about half the damage they do now.
Other remarks: Head Humper (face hugger): I like the way this enemy is. After you have found out how to get rid of one, they become pretty weak in my opinion. So I'm gonna leave it as it is.
Your turret idea is pretty cool. I think it will fit nicely with the game, especially on stages like Space Station. I'm gonna think about this one and see if it won't cause problems/be overpowered.
The wake up animation after returning to the bunker is maybe too long. I'm gonna look into how to fix this. Probably 'Esc' to skip or something.

I did found out how to get the head humper off which makes sense now but the egg laying/ birthing can be a bit annoying in the middle of a fight. I wouldn't get rid of it but maybe make it happens at the end of the round and birth all at once just without the timer counting down? or maybe we press a button to ready up for the next round without the timer.
Now that i played the last stage i will say that it is hard to do without access to the weapon shop early but not to hard as it seems as the different enemies don't start to spawn till you open certain doors which i did like but fuck the puppet cloaking till she near. The wunder waffle gun seems to one shot but due to it being a slow reload shotgun i can't use it well. I can't really get pass round 15 due to all the robots doing good damage and having to make the choice of the drug shop or weapon shop not both on that map. Then again i might just not active the puppet robot next time to see if i can do better.
Over all great game still.
My best per stage is:
Shack wave 41 could have gone farther but was getting bored and wanted to try the other stages at the time/ is the most balance of all the stages
Cave wave 13 Just fuck the maggots and flys, with the lights on the stealth boys aren't to much of a problem it just you have to make sure you are always moving on that map tho
Jungle wave 17 That poison man is so hard to dodge and the traps are bull to if your trying to kill the big orc at the same time. I still haven't got all the idols is it a chance drop or a end of the round drop?
Space Station wave 21 just stay near the start or the very back room is what help on that without to much moving around. I think there a bug to with the face hugger because the message to get rid of it wouldn't go away even tho i killed it then a new message for it would pop up the next time it happen and it started to block my screen plus i didn't get the hat for getting rid of it either.

I like to think of pregnancy and birthing as a punishment for getting fucked. Yes it's annoying to start birthing/laying eggs in the middle of a wave. But that's kinda the point in my eyes. So I think it's fine this way. You get invulnerable for a little bit afterwards too so you can still escape after birthing.
I'm starting to think the game is not actually that hard. You've reached pretty good scores honestly. Your shack score is broken, but that's okay because it's supposed to be the easiest stage. As for all stages in general: you're only really supposed to reach wave 20. Notice that in the experiments tab the final experiment of stage scores is always 20 (Shack Expert, Cave Expert etc). Reaching anything higher than 20 means you're pretty fricking good at the game (Good job!). The previous points about frustrating elements in the game, such as dropping weapons and random drugs in vendors and Strength being too weak, are still being updated/removed. But I'm starting to think the damage the guns do is fine. Reaching wave 17 in Jungle is pretty good dude, I don't think you need more damage.
Fetishes (idols) have a completely random chance to drop per kill. Each enemy has his own fetish. The same fetish can't drop twice.
That Head Humper bug is garbage, I'm getting on it right away. Thanks for reporting!
I'm not going to move the vendors closer I think. I sorta see F.E.R (robot stage) as the most advanced and challenging stage of all (even though Cave is probably the most difficult). The challenge in the distance between vendors and limited time is so you need to prioritise and choose what's the best option: Should you refill ammo or perhaps find a better gun at the Weapons Vendor, or is it smarter to refill your health so you don't get gangbanged again?
As for the experiments that ask you to have sex with enemies: Buy Anaphrodisiac. A ton of Anaphrodisiac. Anaphrodisiac lowers your Libido, which in turn will make your Pleasure rise much slower, which in turn makes you orgasm and mind break less quickly. Also don't forget Exposing by pressing 'S'.
As for the code for the door: I can't give you that unless you send me your save file (don't lol). It's randomly generated for every player. If you are tech savvy, you can open up the save file and look for yourself hehe. It's an SQLite database file called xGame.db.
Thanks for your comments. I hope you realise how much you are helping me here. You are basically playtesting with me. I'm updating the game right now, and a new version of the game will probably be up in a couple of hours or tommorrow at worst. I got some homework and assignments to do for school too, so I hope I can find the time to do both. (I care more about the game right now ;))
I'm glad that me playing around with different stuff is helping a lot but do remember that i'm a gamer that has played a lot of hard stuff and i got pretty good at dodging and reloading at the same time as well as finding out how to dodge each enemy hit box more or less by killing most of the enemies then just trying to dodge the different attacks at different times till i got good enough to more or less do it in the middle of a heated battle.
The average person with some game skill isn't going to be able to get those scores i got until they try it repeatably and most will just not try for the hi-score and play casually. Which is fine since this is a porn game first, wave shooter second but most people are going to get around wave 8 on most maps for a while then drop it and move on which is why sometimes you sadly have to make a game easier then attended if you want lots of players or give a small buff here and there to keep their attention and play longer. Also i believe i bought and download this game around 1 AM and played it till about 9 AM more or less straight so those scores are very good because of that.
Also make sure to study for whatever type of school you are in, education is important but making sure that you are personally happy both mentally and physically is the most important and take many breaks so you don't burn your self out is very important. Never think that you have to work on something like this or people will be disappointed/ mad at you if you don't update or something. Most people will understand if you need break due to anything life related and won't be mad. Just be sure to communicate enough to your fans and they will be happy even if it a small update or just a "hi are you doing today" post here or there.

There is no ending, it's pretty dissapointing really. I've been thinking of adding some sort of Gallery mode, but I've worked on this game for a while now and I just wanted to release it now. Maybe in the future.

Some suggestions i think would make sense based on JakeLone's and my feedback:
-The wakeup animation for when you first log into the game and subsequent wakeup animations after failure should be switched around, that way you only have to see the longer animation once on startup and shorten the subsequent ones.
-The starting pistol, imo, is fine as it is, the problem is the pistol weapon class in general. I feel like they're too inaccurate for their damage, capacity and reload speed for them to be a reasonable purchase later on, even when fired while crouching, altho im not sure if doing that actually boosts your accuracy/recoil recovery or not. I tried pacing my shots to my best attempt but hitting headshots consistently still seem virtually impossible.
-I agree that weapon dropping on taking attacks from certain enemies are a bit annoying, but it would be significantly less so if there was more feedback that your weapon has dropped among the action, either through an on-screen text prompt or an animation, tho that might prove too much effort for a trivial mechanic.
-I know getting knocked down is meant to be punishment for running out of health, but the recovery duration seems way too long imo, to the point where i had fallen on top of the pit to the right of the starting area on the FER map, the robots still had time to fall into the pit, climb 2 platforms and still managed to down me again before my standup animation had the chance to finish.
Other than these gripes, i think the challenge this game brings is refreshing when it comes to porn games at least, and the variety of fetishes is more than enough to satisfy my depraved tastes. Thank you for making the game, i hadn't enjoyed a porn game as much as i have with this before :)
Sidenote: any plans for more bestiality outside of the zombie hounds? are more maps planned for the future?
It sounds like you're playing an old version. Make sure to play the most recent version, as a couple of (valid) points your mention here are already fixed/changed. Crouching doesn't change anything except for making you a smaller target for projectiles. I did this on purpose cause I don't want people to play the game while crouching 95% of the time. Atleast, that was what I started doing when I was playtesting it, so I removed it mid-way through development. Glad to see you like the game!
Also don't forget that all pistols are very lightweight. This allows you to never run out of ammo, cause you have so many weapons to work with when stocking up on pistols. All pistols are pretty cheap too because I designed them to be weaker than the other types of guns in the game.
I think this is a common issue with antivirusses when it comes to games that are not wrapped by a trusted source such as Steam. This is a random exe file coming from an unknown source, Norton can see that as fishy. I'm going to look into it but I don't think I can fix this, only Unity can.
I believe there is a way to report it to Norton as a false positive But I'm not sure how. It is fine downloading it and extracting it (even did a file insight and Norton said "seems legit") but actually attempting to start it triggers Norton to quarantine it.
Does this mean you can't play the game? If that's so, follow this guide: https://smallbusiness.chron.com/make-norton-permanently-ignore-file-68725.html. This makes it so Norton ignores specific files from scanning. If this guide doesn't work, try to google other guides to make Norton ignore specific files and folders.
I don't think Norton is going take a lone indie hentai game developer too seriously (just a hunch lol). Follow the guide and let me know if you can run the game.
What is it you find hard? Is it the general gameplay of shooting and dodging, or the escaping of sex? Or both? I've spent alot of time to try to make the game properly balanced, and I wanted to make sure it's not too easy.

I've read them all, but I don't have the time or sanity to really sit down and go through every point using my full intelligence and attention. I'm taking it slow right now, and go step by step. Feel free to keep giving feedback and support, but please don't feel offended or ignored in case I don't respond.

If I may chip in not a game, but a management suggestion: You should write up a roadmap. No dates, no release shedule, just a list of things you are working on or planning to do, roughly ordered by how important or sure to be added they are.
In my experience, that's one of the most simple to add things there is, to reduce the influx of dupplicate ideas, and to asure people that there is more worthwhile stuff to come.
A game that works, plays well, and satisfies the horny is one that takes time. It good
Some commendably quick balancing there, had trouble getting to wave 10 on Shack previously, but Casual, I quit after... 21? Yeah, 21, so that's good.
Haven't tried caves yet though, that's the real test, and I see you've got a fair amount of critique there already, as well as a fair amount of suggestions overall.
So this is just a note to say you've had a commendable early start on this, and I look forward to seeing what else you do with it.

Most people like FER stage the most. It's the most recent stage I've made as well, so things I had learned through the progress of developing this game is applied to that stage. Maybe thats why its the best, such as proper AI.

I'm not actually a big fan of the SETTING of the last stage (not great, but tollerateable for me) but it's definitely the best in terms of gameplay.
I had a good bit of difficulty with AI and pathfinding. Right around when starting on the FER stage I really solved some issues and started to create good pathfinding. That is why FER has the most complex paths and platforms out of all the stages, which in turn makes it an interesting stage to play.

Your work really reminds me of old flash games like The Last Stand zombie shooter, which I think is really great. I think it really fills a niche in the NSFW game community that was just waiting to be filled, and I really hope your work inspires others to do the same.
Are you considering branching out to other platforms to advertise/create a presence? In my view it would be nothing but beneficial to have a Patreon, it would give you a good bit exposure than being on itch.io, and let people pitch in more consistently.
I think most of the suggestions and criticisms have already been said to death, maggots are unreasonably small & difficult to see, the cave in general is in need of balance, the jungle map is a bit big, etc etc. Any criticisms imo are heavily outweighed by how well done everything else is.

I'm gonna be honest: I'm quite overwhelmed. Reading all the comments makes me a little dizzy, simply by the sheer number of cool ideas and kind words.
I'm currently a student following a pretty difficult computer scientist course, so I can't spend all of my time on Captivity. I slept 4 hours today and woke up to immediately start attending class (which I'm attending right now).
That's why Patreon is a bad idea I think. I can't consistently work on Captivity, and that's why I don't expect consistent money from generous people.

I just bought the game and already put an unhealthy amount of time and focus into it. I read through some of the earlier comments and I can't believe this is your first game! Amazing work!
There have been a lot of good recommendations and compliments in the comments so far so I don't have a ton to add, but I don't think anyone mentioned the idea of bosses. With a wave-based game like this it's perfectly fine without bosses, but it can add a sense of buildup and progression, as well as a fifth enemy for stages. It could be neat if they would be manually triggered by the player either by a large cash sacrifice or by doing certain things like the statue in the jungle stage or like how Jackies appear when you open the backroom of the F.E.R., or just spawn every certain number of waves. I would say that killing a boss gives an alternative way for players to end a level, and beating a boss would give the option to exit or continue and it can track how early the player beat the boss or how many times they beat the boss in a single run, stuff like that.
To be frank though, the current variety is already great. The F.E.R. stage really blows it out of the water with what the enemies do. Can't wait to see what you do next!

I'm overwhelmed with suggestions for the game right now, I'm gonna go step by step and the do things with priority first, such as a Gallery mode.
Are there any plans to add multiple playable characters or body types like a THICC body option or Futa/Ts, also curious if high heels are a possible addition?
High heels are a bit difficult to implement, considering they player skeleton needs to change in height, maybe in the future. Adding multiple body types is possible, I will look into that one day. I think I will add the futa option as a wardrobe item you van put on.
Great game, payed a little extra after messing around with it.
As most people said, game is hard as balls, except the Shack, I was able to get all of the experiments there in 1.0.0 before trying another level and getting frustrated.
grapple mechanics are a little unforgiving even on the new casual difficulty. I still have to use a macro to get out of grapple for some enemies.
I do think this would benefit from some sort of persistent upgrade mechanic. A little extra libido here, A little extra strength there would be great. It could be based on residual money from each match, or each match could track an overall score, which could carry over into points.
This would allow for increasingly more difficult levels or more difficult experiments, but ya gotta balance the grind also.
My favorite level by far ( in terms of level design ) is FER I would love to see more levels like that... I really like how it is more exploratory, and has multiple paths you can take. Unlocking more monsters the further from spawn you go.
Also, what do you think about opening up for players to add their own levels? I personally have 3 or 4 level Ideas that I would like to make.
Now for bug/issue report time:
When escaping from/finishing a rape, if you hold down a directional button BEFORE you escape, the player character stays still, I have many times gotten in a "stun-lock" because I was holding a direction and I couldn't escape.
controls feel a bit stiff. It is Leaps better than most H-platformers, but there is still something off.
Transitioning from mouse on the side that is the direction the character is moving to behind the character needs a bit slower of a deceleration. ( one of the stiffness issues )

if you need more hands on deck, I am a bored programmer who also knows how to do pixel art and has 0 ideas for a game, but always wanted to work on one.

Hmm... you're probably the 4th person to suggest some form of upgrading. I'm gonna think about it. I'm thinking about being able to spend skill-points to upgrade your character stats. But this is a pretty big change, so don't wait for it right now. Other stuff like new stages and Gallery mode is way more important at the moment.
Also, it's pretty hard to balance the sex escape mini-game. I'm 100% sure that some people find escaping very very easy while others find it near impossible. A solution would be to use a different type of mini-game that doesn't require finger dexterity. But what? But it's kinda too late for that now.

However, there is a lack of gallery or sandbox mode/map (e.g. where the player can choose mobs and their number for each wave, different free guns, infinite parameters (heart, pleasure еtc)).
I hope there will be more content with hypnosis or mind control staff in the game (hypno-traps, bots with flashing hypno-eyes, brain parasites, microchip implant etc.). And not enough lesbians. Cunnilingus to the spider Queen, of course, is available, but this is a bit not what I want.
And I still don't understand what can an Android in the location of F.E.R. Just an ordinary mob?
And there is an extreme lack of "emergency" end button of the level when already know that you lost. Some animations are too long (like Goblin Minor animation).

The orange android with no legs is just there for fun, she doesn't do anything. The white android up top that comes alive after turning the switch on is also just for fun, no gameplay elements are involved.
I 'm not sure what you mean with emergency end button. You mean being able to just give up midway through the game cause you think you've lost? If so: you can just exit to main menu and click play game again. All progression and stuff that gets saved to your save file like highscores and experiment completions happen mid-gameplay, so you don't have to wait around to get mind broken first.
Goblin minor animation is way too long I know. But I've spent a good bit of time on that animation and it hurts to just cut a big portion out lol.

I'm just tired of games not going past alpha stages before being abandoned without a word or where the monthly (if not longer) updates add pretty much nothing else than cosmetics and bug fixes, and such games sadly are all over the place on patreon, patron itself isn't that bad, I've just lost faith in adult games available there, too many devs focusing on milking players of their money more than working on the game.

But I see what you mean. I've noticed some pretty good H-games stuck in development for like 2 years, with Patreon pages still being up.
And honestly they are not that super amazing or revolutionary or anything.Want to know a fun fact? I started this project out as a linear adventure platformer, but shifted towards what the game is now. The reason for that is that making an adventure game with a chronological storyline and level progression towards sensical goals is quite hard. I'm just a programmer. It's by chance that I've also spent a good amount of time drawing and animating when I was younger, so I can atleast create interesting looking characters (I hope). But building entire levels that look good and make sense is beyond me. Also, such projects take way more time than a wave shooter, trust me. I would never be able to release it if I hadn't transformed the game into a wave shooter.
The GUI of the note and keypad in the captivity room, and the keypad and key to unlock the Wunderwaffe in F.E.R are a result from the previous iteration of the game. A bunch of graphics in Space Station are also recycled.
Maybe I will post a unfinished build of what the game used to be. Could be fun.

First of all your game is absolutely amazing that's why I want it to be even better.
- I have a few ideas, most importantly I hope you know that you are not allowed to NOT add a Gallery, This game is to good not to have one, And or an Arena where you have no lives only Pleasure and Libido and you can spawn enemies yourself or with a wave system too but you can decide which enemies can spawn.
- I think something like a content menu where you can toggle things like pregnancy or Futabots don't have a metal sound or dropping your weapon on some attacks would be nice so that every Player can decide how they want to play the game.
- Gangbang is something I personally would definitely want, It fells just wrong when they are 20 Zombie or Flies(hope that's the English name) around you and only one is using you, but I saw that some else also recommend it and you said that it would be difficult to implement I can just cross my fingers and hope.
- You already change the difficulty a bit which was definitely needed, will properly need further testing until it's good enough and while saying that difficulty settings for people how aren't so good at such game but still want to enjoy it wouldn't hurt.(or harder for masochist ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

I noticed that no enemies are normal Humans closest would be Zombies or maybe the Futabots. I don't know if that's on purpose or a coincidence. In any case I will propose Human enemies.
1. A brothel mostly female enemy for some lesbian time. I thought that they have H-attacks like fingering, strap-on, Cunnilingus and some tools like a wooden horse or a sex machine. The Specialty could be that they can tie you up with ropes like arms you can't use items/weapons or legs you can't move and you need to go through a mini-game(like escaping an H-attack) to get rid of them but you can get attack while doing so would decrease the amount of enemies a bit for that reason.(generally would like some Bondage in the game)
2. A really thick Jungle with Tentacle plants what they would to is obviously. The Specialty on that level would be that some enemies spray pollen witch when they hit you, make you extra horny witch means maximum libido is increased and libido increases slowly over time to get rid of it you could add an item or it has a timer.(ability on the left like mind control has a bar like health which when full increases the abilitys level which increases the effect)

The content menu idea is very interesting. But I wonder whether most people are interested in completely customizing their player experience or not. I think most people just want to play a fun game and

Gangbanging is probably never going to happen for this game, so don't get your hopes up. It would involve too much programming work and animation changes. Although I do agree it would fit nicely with this game.

As for your creative ideas, they are pretty good but too vague. I think I like the brothel the most. This game needs some lesbian love (even though futa's are sort of women too. Even though they are bots. With dicks... nevermind)

I still have some things to say I just didn't want to put every thing into one comment, but before I will clarify some things from the old comment
With a content menu I mean not customizing the hole game just things some People like and others not, like pregnancy you could limit by how many things you can have inside you, and if the player doesn't like it at all he can set it to 0(setting it to low should then disable the ability to earn achievements because it changes the gameplay to much)
And with the metal sounds I have not that much against it, I just saw like you said that someone else didn't like it.
although would need to hear it with normal sounds before I make a final decision. Here you could add a toggle like you did with the muzzle flash in 1.0.4
And with my ideas being too vague... I mean that's what they are supposed to be, I am not going to think a Complete stage when you can then you just say nahhh don't like it.(no offense)
And for the Gangbang I am not giving up that easily. I of course don't know how you made every thing but, Currently enemies have only one h-animation if it would be easy to add more than one you could see a Gangbang animation just as another animation where you check if gangbang compatible enemy is nearby and then chose this animation instant of the normal one.(if that's not possible that I hope that at least some enemies will have more than one animation available, but if the gangbang thing doesn't work I think that's also not happening)
Now to some new points.
I think I have found a bug the big bug (pun intended) in the cave does stuck on an H-animatzion some times,
at the end when it should move to the nest but it does nothing.
And I think the amount of traps on the jungle should be limited maybe depending on the difficulty ?
And definitely be able to change the order of your guns.
I have a sound idea don't know how it would sound but you could add a pussy sound while being fucked to the slap sound which sounds wetter the higher you libido gets.(Similar to the fingering sound)
I think the first half of the Zombie grabber animation a bit to long it would be nice if he would bite you only half as soften but does twice the damage not to hard just a bit to long
Small unity questions.Is there a reason why you save your progress in the game files and not somewhere on the system so that you don't need to replace the file on every update, like Application.persistentDataPath not an expert hope I am not missing something.

there is a bug with the fly sound effect on cave, no matter which slider you turn to 0, so long as the master volume is above 0, the sound can be heard.
Personal gripe that I physically can't stand the sound of fly's.
I am not lying that I would pay for a button or slider just for that singular sfx
*Edit*Scratch that, the Master volume can be off and it still plays the fly sfx ahahaha.

Few things to consider maybe adding, a better more expensive version of buffout.
A "Enemies left" counter per wave
Kill x of y could also reward small perma upgrades like +10% damage vs them
Kill x with z weapon, similar, + % damage, or recoil reduction or discount at the vendor
A small one but not sure how difficult it would be to implement, a in-round pause with access to the options, audio, controls ect, I'm always forgetting a button
Gallery mode? I'm not sure its implemented and I'm missing it, as the data counts are awesome, playing the animations would be cool too after unlocking them.
At the moment the cash value is "vulnerable" to cheat engine, something to note if something like that bothers you - tested to try out some of the more expensive vendor items

Buffout is already quite good in my opinion. If you have 0 Strength and consume 2 Buffout, you're already back in the game. Adding a stronger version will probably be overpowered and makes the game go on for way too long.

Building an in-game options menu is pretty hard right now, because I've programmed the GUI of the game pretty badly. Maybe in the future.

I don't care too much about the cheat engine stuff. If people want to cheat, that's their decision. This is not a multiplayer game so it's fine.

I've published 1 app ever for an Apple device, and I remember it being quite a hassle. I'm not sure when I will make a MacOS build. Linux is higher on the priority list too.
Tons of respect for you response time on the feedback. I would have just suggested a difficulty option cause my game doesn't save for some reason and it makes me restart but another way could be adding permanent buffs for completing experiments such as zombie II hunter makes you do more damage to them, dog toy makes them deal less lust damage or snack make you take less damage from bites

Difficulty option sounds good. I think the game is too difficult for alot of people too.
This game is honestly lots of fun, and each patch has consistently improved the overall gameplay and experience by adjusting what needed to be fixed quickly and correctly. The enemies have great variation, and each has animations that fit their overall theme just right, which makes for fighiting through the enemies to find new ones a really enjoyable experience. I personally enjoy the cave and space station enemies the most because I'm honestly into it, but I feel there should be a warning for bloody effects in the animations which weren't given when I first started to play this. Maybe there's been a patch since I've posted this that fixed the issue I find with it.
I believe the dev has said that there'll be more levels and roughly 4-ish enemies per level to fight and see what they do, and I look forward to it. I wish there was more mind-control and hypnosis themed stuff in the game, but I hope there'll be more of it avaliable in the future
Things I'd like to see added:
-enemy threesomes/gangbang scenes
-enemy animation/scene gallery
-upgrades
-meeting with other captives
-a different ending
-shemale/futanari customization for player character
and finally, I hope this expands past just 2 more levels. I'd like to see about a dozen levels, but I understand that's a tremendously large workload
I like hyonosis stuff too. I'm thinking of new ways to explore this. Something like the player being hypnotised from a distance, and her being forcefully made to walk towards the enemy with her arms extended like a zombie.
Gangbang scenes will be quite difficult to implement with the way I've programmed and designed this game. I'm not sure that will be ever a thing for Captivity, but who knows, maybe one day.
A gallery option is needed I think. I just have to figure out how to do it properly.

Im planning to add the futanari thing as a Wardrobe item reward in a future stage release.
It takes a good bit of time to design, draw, animate, program and build an entire stage with it's enemies. Right now I'm following a course to become a bachelor computer scientist, so my time is slightly limited. But I love this game, and judging by the comments others like it too. I will do my best to create new content, and probably create more than 2 stages.

I was thinking in a similar direction. I want to create some sort of area/room alongside the captivity room where you can play around with npc's. I was thinking to make it so completing the Hunter challenges (Zombie I Hunter, Death Hound Hunter etc.) unlocks the npc's so you can play animations and stuff. Interesting idea with the hatch thing, it could work.
For upgrades, I was thinking maybe a special damage increase similar to the drug that maybe drops every 5-10 rounds just to help people last a little longer in the locations. I'm glad to hear you have an interest in more hypnosis content for your game, and the option for futanari as a wardrobe option is a good idea.

It will take a good bit of time to animate an interaction just for one specific and single enemy. Also, it's kinda hard to come up with something she can do.

I noticed that the game often bugs out and the IA simply no longer attacks you. mostly on the pace station level i think. in the cave level it could happen that if a musca grabs you to the nest, then drops you then grabs you immediately after, it bugs itself and no longer does anything after the animation
Hmm that doesn't sound too good. When the AI bugged out at the Space Station, did this occur right after being fucked by one of the enemies? And were you perhaps able to solve it by dashing? I encountered something like that in the past too but I thought I fixed it.
As for the Musca thing, that's new to me. I'm gonna look into that as well. Thanks for reporting these bugs!

Do you know what can cause audio issues? I have no game audio and nothing is muted. Are there any audio drivers that you know will not play your game's audio? If so, could you list them, and any other potential fixes?

I've been stuck loading for about 15 minutes now, I have no idea why. Game starts fine, I can choose between the 3 options and quit, but options is just blank when I select it and when I start the main game, it just loads with the moving background
Hmm that's weird. Others can play just fine. Are you sure you didn't move files around in the game folder? Also, try running the game in administrator mode, maybe that will work. You say you can't see the options menu? Thats very weird. I will look into this issue as soon as I can.

The problem is that for some reason the game can't connect to your save file (Captivity_Data\StreamingAssets\xGameDB.db). That's also the reason why the options menu doesn't load properly.
I moved it to the desktop and still nothing, should I move that file anywhere?

First i like to say that i really like your game and i'm just give my two sense in what i would like to see changed to help your game. You do not have to listen to anything that i'm about to write as it is your game and don't owe us anything at all.
Now I tried 4 stages so far and stage 1 was fine but after that it was really hard to do anything after like round 5 either due to the orcs blow darts/traps, the really small maggots/fly bullshit or the metroids like/ fast as fuck dudes that can down you in 4 hits plus the face hugger that i tried to find a way to get off me for like 10 mins before just being over run by everything else. Also when you mind broke and restart in the bunker let us get out of bed quicker as having to wait about 15 seconds every restart is a bit annoying.
I think that having some armor/ more HP/ being able to get enemies off you quicker/ maybe take away STR all together, should be the first things to fix because i don't know about you but most people just can't spam the buttons that quickly without like 30% of your STR. gone after 1 guy and after the first 30% is gone it like 40% the next time which you fuck after that no matter what.
The perks were fine with like maybe a 33% quicker reload perk/ maybe a perk that makes getting out of grabs faster/ a perk that doubles your dodging stamina. Also maybe a place-able turret or something that you have to buy ammo for then run to it to reload it that takes a few seconds. Maybe change the 15 second invincible drug to not stun you as well. As well as a item that restores you STR. and maybe have all items be in the store instead of random each round because RNG can fuck you sometimes. Maybe a item that restores 1 heart that cost a lot so it can't be spam bought. Also maybe being able to upgrade a weapon's power for like double what it cost or something. Also have the shops be a bit closer as it can be hard to get to both on the larger maps in 30 seconds or change the 30 seconds to like 60 seconds instead since we can skip to the next round.
Most of the weapons felt a bit weak after like round 10 unless you had the 50% damage perk with shotguns really fucking you due some being really slow to reload plus the enemies just being all over the place. The 250 round LMG was the best gun for everything which is fine since it cost $3000 but the 50 round LMG should be a bit more powerful if it going to be the same price. The starter pistol is fine for the first stage but really didn't do much in any other stage due to the enemies being able to quickly spam attack you from all angles so maybe make the enemies a little easier to kill for the first 3 rounds/ slightly buff the starter pistol. The flamethrower on stage 4 is nice but the range is a bit short for it to help with the stun attack from the metroids like enemy that can shoot from far away.
Now most of the enemies are fine but maybe make it so that the harder enemies don't spawn in till some rounds have pass or have a enemy introduced every few rounds to give the player some time to get cash and buy some equipment. Now i don't like how the later enemies can just make you drop your equipment in some of their grabs instead just let the player keep it as the active item at the time because it's annoying to have to pick it up in the middle of a fight then quickly switch back to it while dodging everything else only to get grab again and lose it once more. Also have a button to skip the much longer sex scenes if you can't escape at the cost of 1 heart or something as some people will want to get back to the fight then have to wait every time. Also make the invincible frames after the sex a little longer so you can get up better.

You make pretty good points and have interesting ideas.
You're the second person who commented that the game is basically a bit too hard. Maybe you guys are right. I have playtested this game all by myself cause I am not a studio, just a one man developer. To me the game is too easy: but that's most likely due to me playing the game for over 150 hours due to playtesting.
I think you're right about the difficulty of the game. I can see how the game is overwhelming when being attacked by all the different types of enemies on each stage (Jungle stage and Cave stage are by far the most difficult ones, I lose quite often on those stages as well).
Here's my ideas to make the game a bit more easy and less frustrating (based on your ideas as well as my own):
- Strength is getting buffed: This means you can more easily escape sex with the amount of Strength you have. I think the cap at which escaping should start to get really difficult is around 33% Strength, instead of the way it is right now which is around 50%. Removing this element makes the game pretty boring in my opinion so I'm not planning to remove it.
- Some way to restore Strength: I like the idea of Strength being depleted permanently. If this is not the case, the game will go on pretty much forever. However, losing all your Strength pretty much means you're fucked (ha). So I'm gonna think about some way to balance this, maybe a new drug with proper pricing or something.
- A drug that makes escaping sex easier
- No more weapon loss: You can lose your gun when getting fucked by certain enemies, like Flies and Abbys, but also by special attacks, like energy blasts from Sqoids. I see that it can be annoying and frustrating to deal with this. I think I'm gonna remove this mechanic entirely. I mostly added this because I thought it was a cool visual thing: which it is (I think). But gameplay is more important.
- Drug vendor consistency: Drugs are randomly inserted into Drug Vendors each end of the wave. Maybe this is a bit annoying, cause drugs tend to get expensive the more powerful they are. Adding a random element to it may be a bit too much. I think I will remove this random element and just present all the drugs every time you enter the Drug Vendor, but limiting it so that you can only buy 1 of each drug every wave. The Weapons Vendor will remain the same, cause some guns are clearly better than others and I don't like the idea of just buying the same best guns every time you play.
- General buff to all guns: I'm gonna make most guns a bit stronger in damage, including the starter pistol. I think this will make using them more satisfying.
- Pump action reload speed increase: The reload speed of pump action shotguns are slow, yes. I'm just gonna make it quicker.
I'm thinking of nerfing a bunch of enemies, mainly:
- Flies: I think I'm gonna reduce Strength drain and Libido increase on sex. I like the idea of Flies being annoyingly fast and quick to 'hump' the player. That's why I don't want to reduce the rate at which the player gets fucked by Flies. However, the Strength drain and Libido increase could be lowered quite a bit. Also, just in case you don't know already: Flies cannot face fuck you if you are not facing them while they are charging you. Check the Data tab to see each enemy and their special attacks.
- Maggots: same story as Flies. They should be able to quickly fuck the player, because they are small and slimy. I'm gonna reduce it's fuck strength a good bit though, so you can escape them more easily even you are a bit low on Strength.
- Sqoids (metroids): They are too high in numbers I think. I can also reduce the rate of their energy blasts and maybe add like a 50% chance to not fire, so that they don't bombard you with energy blasts all at once.
- Litigants (fast as fuck dudes): I like the idea that they are fast as fuck. Also, Space Station stage is quite linear with no vertical platforming. This could make the stage quite boring if all enemies are slow and tanky-like. I can definitely see them being a bit too strong, however. I think I will keep them as they are, but reduce the damage they do on attacks quite a bit. Maybe about half the damage they do now.
Other remarks:
Head Humper (face hugger): I like the way this enemy is. After you have found out how to get rid of one, they become pretty weak in my opinion. So I'm gonna leave it as it is.
Your turret idea is pretty cool. I think it will fit nicely with the game, especially on stages like Space Station. I'm gonna think about this one and see if it won't cause problems/be overpowered.
The wake up animation after returning to the bunker is maybe too long. I'm gonna look into how to fix this. Probably 'Esc' to skip or something.

I'm glad to hear that you like the ideas that i was just spit balling out as it came to me and glad to hear that most of what i said seem to help out.
I did found out how to get the head humper off which makes sense now but the egg laying/ birthing can be a bit annoying in the middle of a fight. I wouldn't get rid of it but maybe make it happens at the end of the round and birth all at once just without the timer counting down? or maybe we press a button to ready up for the next round without the timer.
Now that i played the last stage i will say that it is hard to do without access to the weapon shop early but not to hard as it seems as the different enemies don't start to spawn till you open certain doors which i did like but fuck the puppet cloaking till she near. The wunder waffle gun seems to one shot but due to it being a slow reload shotgun i can't use it well. I can't really get pass round 15 due to all the robots doing good damage and having to make the choice of the drug shop or weapon shop not both on that map. Then again i might just not active the puppet robot next time to see if i can do better.
Over all great game still.
My best per stage is:
Shack wave 41 could have gone farther but was getting bored and wanted to try the other stages at the time/ is the most balance of all the stages
Cave wave 13 Just fuck the maggots and flys, with the lights on the stealth boys aren't to much of a problem it just you have to make sure you are always moving on that map tho
Jungle wave 17 That poison man is so hard to dodge and the traps are bull to if your trying to kill the big orc at the same time. I still haven't got all the idols is it a chance drop or a end of the round drop?
Space Station wave 21 just stay near the start or the very back room is what help on that without to much moving around. I think there a bug to with the face hugger because the message to get rid of it wouldn't go away even tho i killed it then a new message for it would pop up the next time it happen and it started to block my screen plus i didn't get the hat for getting rid of it either.

I like to think of pregnancy and birthing as a punishment for getting fucked. Yes it's annoying to start birthing/laying eggs in the middle of a wave. But that's kinda the point in my eyes. So I think it's fine this way. You get invulnerable for a little bit afterwards too so you can still escape after birthing.
I'm starting to think the game is not actually that hard. You've reached pretty good scores honestly. Your shack score is broken, but that's okay because it's supposed to be the easiest stage. As for all stages in general: you're only really supposed to reach wave 20. Notice that in the experiments tab the final experiment of stage scores is always 20 (Shack Expert, Cave Expert etc). Reaching anything higher than 20 means you're pretty fricking good at the game (Good job!). The previous points about frustrating elements in the game, such as dropping weapons and random drugs in vendors and Strength being too weak, are still being updated/removed. But I'm starting to think the damage the guns do is fine. Reaching wave 17 in Jungle is pretty good dude, I don't think you need more damage.
Fetishes (idols) have a completely random chance to drop per kill. Each enemy has his own fetish. The same fetish can't drop twice.
That Head Humper bug is garbage, I'm getting on it right away. Thanks for reporting!
I'm not going to move the vendors closer I think. I sorta see F.E.R (robot stage) as the most advanced and challenging stage of all (even though Cave is probably the most difficult). The challenge in the distance between vendors and limited time is so you need to prioritise and choose what's the best option: Should you refill ammo or perhaps find a better gun at the Weapons Vendor, or is it smarter to refill your health so you don't get gangbanged again?
As for the experiments that ask you to have sex with enemies: Buy Anaphrodisiac. A ton of Anaphrodisiac. Anaphrodisiac lowers your Libido, which in turn will make your Pleasure rise much slower, which in turn makes you orgasm and mind break less quickly. Also don't forget Exposing by pressing 'S'.
As for the code for the door: I can't give you that unless you send me your save file (don't lol). It's randomly generated for every player. If you are tech savvy, you can open up the save file and look for yourself hehe. It's an SQLite database file called xGame.db.
Thanks for your comments. I hope you realise how much you are helping me here. You are basically playtesting with me. I'm updating the game right now, and a new version of the game will probably be up in a couple of hours or tommorrow at worst.
I got some homework and assignments to do for school too, so I hope I can find the time to do both. (I care more about the game right now ;))
I'm glad that me playing around with different stuff is helping a lot but do remember that i'm a gamer that has played a lot of hard stuff and i got pretty good at dodging and reloading at the same time as well as finding out how to dodge each enemy hit box more or less by killing most of the enemies then just trying to dodge the different attacks at different times till i got good enough to more or less do it in the middle of a heated battle.
The average person with some game skill isn't going to be able to get those scores i got until they try it repeatably and most will just not try for the hi-score and play casually. Which is fine since this is a porn game first, wave shooter second but most people are going to get around wave 8 on most maps for a while then drop it and move on which is why sometimes you sadly have to make a game easier then attended if you want lots of players or give a small buff here and there to keep their attention and play longer. Also i believe i bought and download this game around 1 AM and played it till about 9 AM more or less straight so those scores are very good because of that.
Also make sure to study for whatever type of school you are in, education is important but making sure that you are personally happy both mentally and physically is the most important and take many breaks so you don't burn your self out is very important. Never think that you have to work on something like this or people will be disappointed/ mad at you if you don't update or something. Most people will understand if you need break due to anything life related and won't be mad. Just be sure to communicate enough to your fans and they will be happy even if it a small update or just a "hi are you doing today" post here or there.

There is no ending, it's pretty dissapointing really. I've been thinking of adding some sort of Gallery mode, but I've worked on this game for a while now and I just wanted to release it now. Maybe in the future.

Some suggestions i think would make sense based on JakeLone's and my feedback:
-The wakeup animation for when you first log into the game and subsequent wakeup animations after failure should be switched around, that way you only have to see the longer animation once on startup and shorten the subsequent ones.
-The starting pistol, imo, is fine as it is, the problem is the pistol weapon class in general. I feel like they're too inaccurate for their damage, capacity and reload speed for them to be a reasonable purchase later on, even when fired while crouching, altho im not sure if doing that actually boosts your accuracy/recoil recovery or not. I tried pacing my shots to my best attempt but hitting headshots consistently still seem virtually impossible.
-I agree that weapon dropping on taking attacks from certain enemies are a bit annoying, but it would be significantly less so if there was more feedback that your weapon has dropped among the action, either through an on-screen text prompt or an animation, tho that might prove too much effort for a trivial mechanic.
-I know getting knocked down is meant to be punishment for running out of health, but the recovery duration seems way too long imo, to the point where i had fallen on top of the pit to the right of the starting area on the FER map, the robots still had time to fall into the pit, climb 2 platforms and still managed to down me again before my standup animation had the chance to finish.
Other than these gripes, i think the challenge this game brings is refreshing when it comes to porn games at least, and the variety of fetishes is more than enough to satisfy my depraved tastes. Thank you for making the game, i hadn't enjoyed a porn game as much as i have with this before :)
Sidenote: any plans for more bestiality outside of the zombie hounds? are more maps planned for the future?
It sounds like you're playing an old version. Make sure to play the most recent version, as a couple of (valid) points your mention here are already fixed/changed. Crouching doesn't change anything except for making you a smaller target for projectiles. I did this on purpose cause I don't want people to play the game while crouching 95% of the time. Atleast, that was what I started doing when I was playtesting it, so I removed it mid-way through development. Glad to see you like the game!
As for animal stuff, I don't have any plans at the moment. But there's a good chance I will add more of them in future stages. Stay tuned!

No, I don't think Death Hound pregnancy will work too well. However, I am quite sure I want to add more pregnancy stuff in future stages.
Also don't forget that all pistols are very lightweight. This allows you to never run out of ammo, cause you have so many weapons to work with when stocking up on pistols. All pistols are pretty cheap too because I designed them to be weaker than the other types of guns in the game.
Reload speed is also very high with pistols.
Game is coming up as a High Risk Norton Virus, anyone else have this issue?
I think this is a common issue with antivirusses when it comes to games that are not wrapped by a trusted source such as Steam. This is a random exe file coming from an unknown source, Norton can see that as fishy. I'm going to look into it but I don't think I can fix this, only Unity can.
I believe there is a way to report it to Norton as a false positive But I'm not sure how. It is fine downloading it and extracting it (even did a file insight and Norton said "seems legit") but actually attempting to start it triggers Norton to quarantine it.
Does this mean you can't play the game? If that's so, follow this guide: https://smallbusiness.chron.com/make-norton-permanently-ignore-file-68725.html. This makes it so Norton ignores specific files from scanning. If this guide doesn't work, try to google other guides to make Norton ignore specific files and folders.
I don't think Norton is going take a lone indie hentai game developer too seriously (just a hunch lol). Follow the guide and let me know if you can run the game.

What is it you find hard? Is it the general gameplay of shooting and dodging, or the escaping of sex? Or both? I've spent alot of time to try to make the game properly balanced, and I wanted to make sure it's not too easy.
